Plantellarknight Ptolemaios

Light Rank 4
550/2600

2 or more Level 4 monsters
During either player's turn: You can detach 3 Xyz Materials from this card; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 monster that is 1 Rank higher than this card, except a "Number" monster, by using this card as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to this card also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) You can detach 7 Xyz Materials from this card; skip your opponent's next turn. During each End Phase: You can attach 1 "Stellarknight" card from your Extra Deck to this card as an Xyz Material.

Half of all R5s are Numbers.

So that leaves...

Digvorzahk
CXyz Authur
ZW: Leo Arms
Diamond
Zenmaioh
Tiras
Adreus
Zereort
CXyz Cheer Girl
Pleiades
Bram
Durendal
Shark Fortress
Azathoth
Sacred Arty
Cyber Dragon Nova
Empress of Prophecy
RR - Blaze Falcon
Exa-Stag

And half of those aren't even very good.

However, unlike Diamond's summon condition, you could summon this in Main Phase 1...provided you had 3 materials *coughseraphscough*

7 Xyz materials for the turn-skipping effect?

Not worth it.

And it's measly ATK doesn't help either...

Well, obviously. But it would've been nice had the second effect required less Xyz materials.

I am disappointed. I was hoping for an offensive Nutellar Xyz, but instead we get a meh way to make Constellar Pleb and an easy way to put Diamond into any deck...

MP2 still bothers me. It's better for card design to make it like that, yeah, but I'm not sure if it being MP2 will hurt its playability significantly enough to prevent its splashing.

The extra is tight, but you're playing Diamond already right? Maybe toss a Pleiades in there.

Probably wasn't necessary in the Seraph variant anyway. Contrast is gr8, but Seraphs are so crazy that they can get by w/o. I'd only suggest Plieades in Seaphs because you get him w/ 2 Materials.

I was using it as something to otk with, because of seraph drawing.

Also for when I had to play it when I drew no seraphs
